She replied within an hour and we got to talking." Woah! Pooja jumped into the conversation when I asked her about her first meet. She says, "We met at a cafe, where we spent so much time talking to each other without the track of time." Nirav had something to add, "Her pictures don’t do justice to her looks. She is way more beautiful in person. I just couldn't take my eyes off her. Her cuteness and her expressions! I was completely love struck in our first meet itself."

After knowing so much, I was curious to know who proposed first? Nirav says, "Pooja proposed first. She had done such an amazing decoration by the beach side." Pooja's excitement was evident in her voice. She says, "We had been to Goa which was our first trip together. Nirav loves beaches and I wanted to express my love for him so I had planned a candle light dinner by the beach. I gifted him a black suit and I wore a red dress. By the beach side, under the stars and the moonlight, cute romantic candles, a table with roses and with a bottle of wine, we had our small date.” Nirav adds, "That was one of the most romantic dates. To make it special she also gifted me a key chain with our names on it. I still have it and I see it everyday." That's so adorable!

I asked Nirav, how's your relationship with your in laws? He says, "I share a special bond with my in laws. They are the sweetest of all. We go on long trips and meet up quite often. It’s always memorable. My mother-in-law is an amazing cook and keeps feeding me the dishes I love.” I ask him if he has any special memories with them? He says, "It was Pooja's first birthday after our engagement and I wanted it to be very special. My mother-in-law helped me a lot to make arrangements for the birthday celebrations of my beautiful wife-to-be. She is very good in planning and helped me with all the decorations. I went to her house and decorated her room. At midnight I surprised her." Pooja breaks into the conversation, "I was surprised to see him there. I was overwhelmed by his efforts. To make it even more special, he had written a poem for me." Awww! That's so cute.

“Marriage is a sweet bonding. It's a lovely relationship. If you accept things happily, everything is beautiful,” says Pooja.
